Why idle current (2.9A) for this motor is so much bigger than for the previous size motor - SK 35-42 (1.7A)? And bigger than SK 42-50?

Hi all, I like this motor but I would need it to be mounted in front of the firewall and not behind it. Is there any reverse-mounting option (i.e., fixed side at the back, rotating side at the front) other than adding a firewall extension? Thanks!

It comes with a propeller adapter for fitting the motor "reversed", so that it should be possible to mount it both ways.

Can someone post the actual length of this motor including the mount plate and prop drive?
I'm guessing those two items add an extra 12.5mm, but I'd like to be certain.
