I prefer to bolt my motors to firewall so the shaft is at the wrong end for me. nice fat windings and low Kv should throw big 10" prop. Flimsy fat plastic mount hardly looks suficient and obstructs air flow. Still I am determined to use it somewhere.

Can i power it with a 7.4v(2c) battery?
   jej500 (48%)
yes, I did it but it works better with 3S lipo.
   Ismoly (42%)
Of course not, otherwise it ll be necessary a very big propeller since it is 920 RPM /volt to garantee a good enough thrust to fly your airplane. Better option is choose a motor with higher Kv or use a 3 cell batery. Good luck!

philip (74%)
From the KV and weight specs, it looks more like a direct replacement for the eskay 400 that HL sells for their foamy yak..

lapo92 (61%)
the accessories are included?

Apparently thats what the factory states.
I believe it's more a case of a factory copying something and getting it wrong.

luca (87%)
Really, they are kidding! This engine would be definitively at the wrongest place if fitted in any EDF. Much better an ilnine, high RPM engine.

...But indeed, it may be great with a large propeller, such as 10x4

REALLY!??? Where do you see it stating that it's for an EDF??? I don't see that any where! This is an unbranded AXI 2212, they are made by Suppo (A2212/890). I have a Suppo branded one with gold anodized ends and it easily flys a 1/10 scale Extra with an APC 10x7sf = 118w, 11.8A on a 1500mAh 3S Impulse LiPO

SeaComms (77%)
A 920kv motor advertised as EDF that will only run up to 10volts?? Thats only 9000 rpm give or take no load! My little EDF runs a 3800kv...
